Dog Food Recall Expanded
 

The Mars Corporation has expanded it's recall and now includes the following brands....

thank god i feed better food.....safe on both recalls :thumbs up

I just hope it doesn't expand to include Royal Canin, Medi-cal, Techni-cal and Nutro.....there are so many people out there that feed that.

true....but i'm safe on that one too.....maybe thats a question we should e-mail to the political leaders............what are you going to do about food quality for pets.:rolleyes:

Wow, what a scary thought that there is another pet food recall. What is going on lately? First it was Menu Foods, the Maple Leaf, now this. I don't think any food is safe these days, canine or human.

WOW,not again:sad:Cat-Food is not mentioned,I would assume they also make cat-food:shrug:
I just read the article,it does include cat-food,but nothing I feed my cats,I hope no dogs/cats will die from this.

I heard this on the radio this morning, it makes me so angry :mad: some of these brands were included in the Menu Foods recall as well - did these companies/the whole industry learn nothing :yell: :mad:

From that link it says the products affected were only sold in the US but I have my doubts :wall:

GRRRRR I'd like to scream :yell: :censored: anyone mind? This is totally disgusting after what we all went through last year, here we go again. :frustrated:

The worst part of this recall is that Mars knew before the end of July and stopped production on July 29, 2008 and here it is the middle of September and we are just hearing about it now!:wall:

They say it is only US but I notice that Ol'Roy, Special Kitty, Pedigree and Sam's Club are all on the list of foods that are under recall. They are ALL sold in Canada so how can it be that it only affects the US? I feel for those of you who live in the US and are praying again that your pets will not get sick you must be scared again.

Should we go after those politicians that are running for election and make it an issue with them? Might help but I somehow doubt it after the response of the Agriculture Minister about the Listeriosis outbreak! :loser:

We can all pray that Mars is right and the products in Canada are unaffected.:pray:
