Hello from PEI

I am new to forums as well as pets.ca, it was by accident that I found the site when searching google for help for our cat Daisy. Our family has one cat and is the first pet we have owned. We got her as a 3 month old kitten last year and before she is one year old have just found out that she has liver disease and has multiple shunts. A very steep learning curve has followed and even though we are all devasted by this news we have now got Daisy back home after 4 days away on an IV. She is so much a part of our family that this news has come as a great shock, but we are doing everything in our power to keep her well and pain free, but we know that her time is limited.

Welcome to the board, Daisycat! I wish your little one was feeling better. :grouphug:

You could maybe start a new thread in the cat health forum with a descriptive title that mentions the liver shunts--more people will see it there and you might get more information. :thumbs up

Thanks for the advice I'll do that.
