ZIGGY!!!!! That cat is going to be the death of me, seriously :yell::yell::yell:

We let him out all summer on leash with supervision but now that the weather has changed and we are outside less he is determined to get out anyways.

Last night, as I was trying to get Ginger back in the house from the front door, he took the opportunity and bolted out. Only problem...he forgot he HATES to be wet and it was pouring rain. He hid under Pat's truck parked on the street.

I was trying to lure him with Temptations but he would not come out from under. As soon as he felt rain drops he would retreat, opting instead to draw the treat closer with his paw...:frustrated:

After half an hour an ME being soaking wet, I finally went in and got a spoonful or wet food. I let him pick up the smell but again he would not come out from under. FINALLY, I put the spoon down on the cement, out from the truck and his piggyness took over and he came to get it. I snatched him up and brought him in.

The long part of his back paws was filthy dirty and oily...tried to wipe it but he kept biting at me :frustrated: Guess he is going to have to groom it off himself.

What a little stinker he is...good thing he is cute :cloud9:

Our Roxie bolted out the door on my husband one morning. As she is more likely to come to me than him I went out with the Temptations to try and lure her to me...unfortunately I had just got out of the shower and was running around the driveway and yard with my hair wrapped up and only a towel around me...:D

I am sure the neighbours were having fun watching Roxie roll around on the driveway in complete bliss while I am calling her, shaking the bag of treats and trying to hold my towel up at the same time

We finally got her cornered by the front door and my husband was able to scoop her up and back inside she went..

They do love to tease us don't they

Yeah, one of the side effects of letting them go out on a leash is that they think they can go out whenever they want. little dickens'.
A coworker of mine has trained her "Dawg" to sit by the sliding door until she has her harness on her and mommy has checked it. Only then is she allowed to go out. You may have to put Ziggy in another room before you open a door for a while till he gets the wanderlust out of his system again.
Ziggy, Mommy is right. Good thing you're cute! :cloud9:
