Super Easy Iced Coffee
Beats Starbucks and Timmies, as far as I'm concerned..way cheaper too!
Take 2 tsps of instant coffee. I'm using Maxwell House Dark Roast, put in a mason jar, add 2 tsp or a little more sugar or sweetener, 3 tbspn warm water close lid, shake till it's nice and foamy, pour over ice in glass and top off with milk or chocolate milk for a mocha. Add some whipped cream if you've got it..yummy!!! |
I can't stand when my coffee gets cold, but I love iced coffee's go figure! We make espresso at home all the time, so I chill leftovers (or make a pot for the fridge) and pour a double shot over ice, add a squirt of sugar free vanilla syrup and then add some milk to it. It goes over well at our house.
A few weeks ago I made an angel food cake that called for instant coffee in it, and it was iced with whipping cream that had instant coffee in it. That was delicious! I may always have to add coffee to my whipping cream (not that I use it more than like every three years...) |
Oh that sounds yummy DD. I'll have to get some of those syrups. I don't mind McD's iced coffee especially since it's just a $1, but they discontinued the hazlenut flavour last year, very dissapointing. Never tried coffee flavoured whipping cream, sounds good though

One cup of coffee mixed with chocolate syrup and sweetened as you like, add cream and pour over ice... personally I like to use cooled coffee so that the ice doesnt water down my drink from the heat of the coffee.

Better
Make coffee cool it, then use condensed cream sweetened blend with ice and you have perfect ICE coffee. No need for sugar/cream all there, this tastes out of this, world:ca::cloud9:

I once brought a cup of ice coffee and the restaurant uses ice cubes made of coffee , it was really good. When the ice cubes melted my coffee did not get all watery , I hate it when my ice coffee get that way.
