Macaroni salad

Ok i so feel like a silly person for asking this but does anyone know when you make a macaroni salad and want to put peas in it do you have to cook the frozen peas first or just thaw them and throw them in? i've never made one before and i'm winging it.

I worked at a deli and we put frozen peas in the potato salad and we didn't thaw them.
Mmmm now I"m craving it!

I usually steam them for a couple of minutes to take the chill off, but in a pinch (like when everything else is ready to mix in and I realize I've forgotten to steam the peas :o) I'll throw them in frozen. Tastes fine both ways and no one has gotten sick so far :thumbs up :D

I'd put them in frozen, it'd give a nice texture

When I'm boiling the pasta I add the frozen peas for the last minute before I drain it.

My favorite is to use the spiral pasta, a can of tuna, and a cup of peas. I add celery sometimes because my husband likes it. Then I stir in a cup of Mayo (I use Veganaise) and 2 Tabblespoons of Bragg's liquid aminos. (Like soy sauce)

I got that out of one of Marilu Henner's cookbooks. She calls it TV Guide Tuna
