spay & neuter clinics

It is time to get my 14 month old neutered, In my city we have several spay & neuter clinics which are about $60-100.00 cheaper then the regular vets that we have in our area. I have heard from other people that the clinic's just line them up and do them one by one all day. The difference is also that at the vet's he would stay the night. Do you think there is a big difference in this service ? or recommend one over the other from experiences? :)

This is a dog I am guessing. I had my cats done at the Humane Society. It was subsidized and they were just fine. The male (who lived to be 19) came home that night) but the female stayed overnight(she died at age 10 of kidney disease brought on by antifreeze ingestion 5years earlier).

I've only had cats done. All four at a clinic and they were lined up one by one and came home the same day. They are way cheaper for this reason but by no means less taken care of. You need to have their night numbers or emergency vets numbers handy if you chose a clinic and bring them home the same day, just in case anything happens.

We had Den-Den and Corky done at our regular vet, as well as their vaccinations. I wanted to establish their history with our vet and be able to have them go to someone who knows them. It means a lot to me that they are happy when they go in to visit him and his staff.
