not so happy day :(
nothing really bad...well for hubby's health for my sanity yes. We wanted to move to the second floor apt. Well first landlords tell me they are raising the rent because they think its worth it. the amount i would be paying would be to high for me to afford. Not with hubby's medical bills on the rise and not sure he will get his government money we've been getting. thats still waiting to be reviewed.

What i'm so pi$$ed about is the fact that we've lived in this same apartment for 8 years. nothing has been done to update it or anything. no painting no nothing. now we did some damage to the kitchen floor. its not tile its the type thats like one big sheet. i can't think of how to spell the name. but anyway it is also damage in some other areas and even if we hadn't done the damage they would have to tear it up and replace it. they informed me they want us to pay for the WHOLE thing. i don't think so!!!!!!!! plus a few things the cats damaged which is fine. I didn't agrue with them about the floor atm cause we still have to live here. But i am now looking to move out in a few years and they are in for a surprise if they think i'm paying for the whole thing. I will pay part cause i did do some damage but grrrrrrrrrrrrr. and they know our situation the fact that hubby is in kidney failure. it just makes me so mad. we pay rent on time or i let them know if its going to be late. we're quiet keep to ourselves. i just love how they want to do this to us.

So for now we're still staying in this apartment which i don't mind but i want somewhere new! Sorry i just wanted to rant. i've been so upset about this :(

Oh, what a disappointment.:grouphug:

I can understand your frustration and I know you were so looking forward to getting into a larger apartment.

MWW, so sorry to hear about yet another disappointment for you. Hang tough, life can be a real challenge at times, but you will pull through this. Your first priority has to be Tom and you and the kitties. Don't sweat this stuff, it will all resolve itself some day. Have you looked into tenant rights or anything? Would the floor not be considered part of wear and tear after 8 years? Just curious. I wish things would settle for you my dear one. You are always in my thoughts. I'll give you a call in a day or two (one evening). Stay strong and know that your Mom cares and loves you. Hugs.

MWW,you and your husband are certainly facing some very difficult times and you deserve some kind of break:pray:
Tom is very young to go through all this,as are you I am sure..I can only hope that life will treat you gentler in the future:pray:

Thanks again everyone. it is a bit disappointing. just feels when something comes around that i can be excited about it just can't really happen. but that's ok right just plug right along. we have a roof over our heads (when it doesn't leak...) and many other things to be happy about its just frustrating to me. i want i don't know something to go our way but guess that time wasn't now.

i am going to be fighting the floor when ever we do move out i'm not making any noise about it right now cause we're still going to be here for a few years. going to up efforts to get out now. yea i'm young too. he's 35 i'm 29 going to be 30 in september. i tell you there are days where i feel like i lived a hundred years already. who knew health problems could be so excruciating with the worry and money and everything.

again thanks for the hugs and thoughts it does help makes me feel there is somewhere i can hang my hat and cry sometimes. :grouphug::grouphug:
