Wesley the owl

I am on owl forum and came across this book.

http://www.wesleytheowl.com/

It is about a injured owlet that gets brought into a owl foundation. Biologist, wildlife rescuer, and wildlife rehabber Stacey O'Brien, decides that since the owl will never be released to the wild, she takes him home and cares for him, forming a incrediable bond.

ooo..I can't wait to get my hands on this book. I've posted this in the wildlife section, due to I feel the thread will get more views, then the book section. The link also has a short video of Stacey and Wesley. A must see!!

I watched the short video on the site. Looks like a great story. Owls are such interesting creatures, it is rare to see them interacting with a human like this. Thanks for the link ACO!

You might be interested in a podcast from a year ago with Stacey O'Brian on Talking Animals (scroll down to the Nov 12, 2008 show). It's a fascinating story, for sure.

Actually the maojority of people think that owls are not affectionate, or like to cuddle. But owls love to be talked too and shown affectionate.

Thanks for the Link Sugarcatlove.
