Your best bet is to take her to a vet, nitalee. It may be something as simple and easy to fix as a case of worms, but it could also be something more serious. Your vet may be willing to check a fecal sample for worms without seeing your cat, so you might want to call and ask about that.
Welcome to the board, nitalee. :) |
Is she spayed? Could she be in heat?
|
It could be lots of things actually - some of them more serious and some not that serious.
are the poos very hard? could she be constipated? I agree with the others though - vet visit is recommended. Good luck! |
yeh shes been spayed.we made sure she was before we got her.
Marko: yeah she has hard poo but shes still on her kitten food so im taking her off that and putting her on adult food now, hopefully that will make a differences. i also got told it could be couse she dnt drink another water, soo i put another waterbowl out for her. but if nothing changes ill have to take her to the vet. figerscrossed that nothing seres. |
Another way of getting more water in her would be to feed her canned food. Cats are designed to get most of their water from food, not drinking and often don't feel the urge to drink even if they need it. I don't know what you feed your cat, but you might consider adding some canned food.
