I used to feed it to my dog. I bought the pre-mix and baked the muffins myself because I liked to vary the meat, veggies and fruit with every batch. My dog loved it, her behaviour was calmer, her tear stains diminished and they were convenient even when travelling. I made a batch and put the muffins in freezer bags. They smelled good enough to eat. You can also get them in pre-made frozen muffins. They're made by two local women in Burlington with local, organic ingredients. They're quite easy to make and if you bake the muffins yourself, it's not bad in price. It cost me $20 a month to feed my 17 lb dog. I feed her raw now though. I've also recommended it to clients that come into the animal hospital where I work. You do have to add an omega 3 supplement so I would just squeeze a salmon oil capsule. I also like that they will customize a recipe for you.
