I know nothing about this, but just a quick thought about the antibiotics...

Often it takes more than two days to kick in, but soon I would expect the discharge to get better, and not be the same and definitely not get worse.

I also wonder if 10 days is enough. This isn't something I would want to mess around with, so I would want a long enough course. For uti's my vet said to give until the symptoms are gone, and then give 5 days longer than that. With infection, often, so worried about overuse of abx, vets are under treating in some cases.

Thank you for your reply! I called the vet this morning and he was surprised that there was still fluid leaking from her incision. He told us to bring her in for a checkup and didn't sound concerned at all. Will be phoning and scheduling an appointment elsewhere :(
