Missing Family Member - Yorkie/Shih tzu, Johnston and Blake Streets in Barrie, Ont

Good Morning. Our cherished family dog is missing. Our 7 year old accidently let our 6 lb male, Yorkie-Shih tzu out of the yard and chased him as far as the street. While combing the neighborhood, my husband came across a woman who reported she had seen an older couple in a white car with him looking for the owner. Our little "Pee Pants" went missing from the area of Johnston and Blake Streets in Barrie, Ontario. The white vehicle was last seen at Puget and Blake. We have put up posters, notified all of the shelters and contacted the neighbours. Our family is devastated. Please contact Rob at 705-795-4218 if you have any information. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I just wanted to send some :fingerscr that your furbaby returns to you and your family soon. Check out the SPCA/Humane Society, maybe the people who picked him up took him there. patti

Thanks so much pbpatti. We contacted 3 area SPCA's in Barrie and area the same day. There are also posters all over the area - grocery stores, gas statons, Tim Hortons.....as well as ads in the Barrie Examiner and on Kijiji. Fingers crossed for his safe return. To think that someone could drive away and keep someone else's pet is beyond cruel - to the animal and the people that love him. Appreciate your support.

I've edited the title of your thread to reflect the type of dog missing and the area he was lost, in case someone does a web search after finding him.

Good luck! I hope you're reunited with him soon! :goodvibes:
