This is just too sad and despicable... and exactly why everyday I seem to lose more respect and compassion for people

I haven't read the article, and I won't because honestly I just don't need to see or read this daily to know that humans can be crap. I hope the kitty recovers well and the person responsible suffers the same fate as they gave the kitty.

I like that the authorities are offering a reward - not because of the reward, but because it shows that they care

of the one-pound kitten struggling to survive after being lit on fire on a Philadelphia street corner got worldwide attention, his caretakers say. About $20,000 from 1,000 donors in places as far-flung as New Zealand and Nicaragua paid for the involved medical care and surgery that Justin’s needed to recover from the attack, they said.

And about 100 adoption applications have been filed by people looking to take Justin in, added Anne Trinkle, executive director of Animal Alliance, the group that originally took in the badly-burned kitten and got him medical care.

I have no respect for humanity what so ever. Be these animals domesticated or wild every creature deserves to live and not be tortured. I have in the past walked up to a child 6 years old flingin his kitten around by the tail, I yelled at him parents came out and yelled at me, I turned them in to the humane society. I am very happy that this little baby is one of the lucky ones thanks for sharing but refuse to watch have seen to many mistreated pets in my lifetime:cry::yell::mad::cat:
