new message alert?
 

I was wondering it is possible to have sound effect to alert to new messages,

I tend to not notice that I have a new message and sometimes it is a few days after I recieved that I will happen notice :o

I get a little message pop-up (even though I have popup blocker) that notifies me. Do you not get that?

It's an option to get a pop-up box. If you have a pop up blocker, you won't be able to click on the box to open the message, but at least you'll know it's there, OG.

Go to your User CP. It's the very last thing under "Options".

When you have the pop-up, you click ok first, and then in the next box, you click cancel and it opens in the current window.:)
