oh what a cutie! I love where he's flopped out on the ground, so whats the story behind him? stray? owner surrender? congrats on the new addition
|
omd, what a doll! :flirt: Congratulations on your new family member, LilMac!
|
He's adorable congrats on the new addition :thumbs up
Fixed your pic links for you ;) |
He is a very gorgeous boy.:lovestruck:
Have you thought of a name yet? |
Thanks!! He was a transfer from another shelter, where he was an owner surrender. Given his orange color and the timing, I will likely be calling him Layton.
|
I like the name.:thumbs up:thumbs up:thumbs up
|
He is sooo cute! Love the face and that name! :) Keep updating us! :D
|
I love, love, love that little fellow, and I'm certain that Jack would approve! :thumbs up Congratulations on the new boy. How old is he? He doesn't look too old, no info on why the owner surrendered? Their loss is your gain.

Congrats on the new cutie!

I adopted my first dog pepper.. A dalmatian best thing i ever did.. she will love you for EVER :thumbs up
|
What a cutie. Thank you for adopting him. :thumbs up
He looks just like my friends dog Max. |
He was transferred from a shelter in Quebec so I only have a partial understanding of his issues (the surrender form is in french, so I only understood part of it). I'm told he has a history of separation anxiety, so I'm being cautious of that issue.
He is still just a young thing (9 months) which is far younger than I was looking for, but he reminded me of my deceased dog Lilly and I decided to take him home. Also, I was pleased to see he has lived with cats before. So far he has some significant anxiety (which isn't surprising coming out of a shelter) so we are just relaxing and keeping things low key while he decompresses a bit. |
Thanks so much for adopting that handsome boy! I own an American Cocker Spaniel too, he's my heart dog. That little man will pay you back 1000 times, they are the best for cuddling. Look at that cocker sprawl in the second picture, I love him!
If you need help with the French form, you can PM me and I'll translate it for you. I'm sure with some work, love and patience, he's gonna be an amazing companion :lovestruck: |
