Finally Some Progress!

I'm sooo happy! Zoe has finally started to tell me when she needs to go potty!!! It's been three gruelling weeks of potty training I have ever had! The guy who owned her before never trained her in any way, shape or form IMO!!!! I asked him if she was potty trained and he said "a little......she's really good when she's outside!!!!!" Well of course she's good when she's outside

This morning, when I got up, she stayed in bed. So I hopped in the shower and when I got out, she was at the bathroom door. She scratched and whined so I opened the door, said "good morning baby!! Let's go outside to pee!" And she ran off to the door to go out! I did a search in the house to make sure she didn't go inside somewhere and it was all clear! She has also started to scratch when she wants back in the house. I'm so glad - now, we have some sort of a warning that it's time to go out!! Before this, she would just pee on the spot with no warning!!! And it was never the same spot either! I knew patience and persistance would get us to where we are today!!!!! :thumbs up

Woohoo!

That is great! Good for Zoe! :thumbs up

We pick up our new puppy tomorrow and I am not looking forward to standing outside every few hours in the middle of the night - especially since it has been snowing here since Wednesday night and its still snowing! BRRRRRR! I hope that it gets warm soon so I won't have to get fully dressed to take puppy outside!

LOL...this morning i had nothing but a towel on when Zoe needed to go out!! I grabbed a blanket off the couch slipped a pair of shoes on and went out the door! Of course I had to be out there with her otherwise she won't do #2!! Lucikly, we have alot of privacy in our yard, so not to many passerbys would have seen me out there!

Oh, I did forget to mention...Zoe was already 14 or 15 weeks when we got her! You could say she's damaged goods! But not for long!!!
