Longer Coated Shiba Inu's?

I have a 4 month old Shiba. She's the light of the house. Her whole personality just makes my day. She is a longer coated Shiba. The breeder I got her from said i'ts not exactly rare...but not exactly common either. Her sister was a shorter haired Shiba. My Macy looked like a little teddy bear when we first got her. She's such a funny little fart. She's awesome with the kids and my old lady ( 10 yr old Samoyed) She greets the kids at the door and is so happy to see them. WE're still in the process of trying to get her to stop nipping when she's excited. She never bites hard... but I don't want it to be a habit. She's quite the stubborn little fart when it comes to the whole training thing, but I think it's because she's a smart one and she's trying to train us too. Here's picture of her at around 10 weeks ( note the longer hair)

They are in Northern Alberta. As far as I know... she's one of the first to bring Shiba's into Canada to breed. Don't quote me on that tho. She also has Akita's and American Eskimos. There's a picture in the puppy section and it looks like my Macy is the one sitting right beside a pumpkin.

They aren't "supposed" to have a longer coat but they come out that way once in a while, it's not a fault but I beleive the pup wouldn't be able to show. Either way she is adorable! I love shibas....

Yeah it's considered an undesirable quality... but I think it makes her as cute as she is. Plus it's a rare anomoly and I seem to be drawn to things like that. I never planned to show or breed her so it's not a big deal to me. It makes her fit in better with my Sam. Everyone thinks they mom and baby!
