Basset Hound Rescue Quebec founder has died.
 

Helen Barrowcliffe the driving force behind BHRQ and also Kiko's rescue
passed away at home on Friday night. BHRQ cannot continue and has several dogs in foster which now must urgently find forever homes.

She was a devoted rescuer and animal devotee and member of our forum.

I know I don't come on here often but I am extremely saddened to hear this news.Helen and her husband did tons for rescue and my heart is breaking for him right now.i know he is devastated.

kiko rescue is run by janet, everthing is ok on her end, helen ran basset hound rescue not kiko, brenda and the pins

I was asked to set the record straight about KIKO Dog Rescue and BHRQ. Although Helen was indeed a good friend of KIKO's founders, she was not, in any way, involved in KIKO's rescue work. As a co-rescuer, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. :cry:
