I would be out in the forest calling his name. He might come out, if he hears your voice. He will also smell your scent. Is your cat declawed. When you are in the forest..look up. he might have climbed a tree.

A cat that gets out will never venture too far from the home. Call when its dusk, have food, what ever will get the cat back. You still have a good shot at finding him, especially if he's an indoor cat. Good luck

Good luck finding your kitty. He is probably not far. Keep looking at dawn and dusk when it is quiet outside.

Indoor cats usually don't go far.
When you go look for him, please bring his favorite food/treats with you. Go look early in the morning and late in the evening; go with someone who knows him and make sure to call out loud his name so he could recognize your voice and come out.
