Had to laugh when I went over to the alpaca stud to get some hay for my pony today. This lot lined up as if they were counting how many bales I took. So curious, and intelligent, though I do wonder why they always need to have their ears back, it makes them look mean.

That's what makes the world such a fascinating place, Marko. I wish people on this forum would show more photo's of Canada, because what is mundane to them is no doubt very different to what's down under. Architecture varies so much for a start. Our buildings don't have to withstand heavy snow, and our fences don't have to withstand wandering bears etc. LOL. . I love seeing photo's of towns in Scandinavia, the buildings are so different to ours . Your scenery in Canada is superb too. If I win the lotto Canada would be high on the list for a visit.

great picture.. i will try and take a good one of the dog walk area here in the west kootaneys of bc. When i do the road trip with the dogs to see my sister in spring i will totally take pics so you can see some of BC at least.

Alpaca's are so cool. There are a few around BC at farms, but certainly not something you see every day! I have to agree with you GF that every country has such amazing scenery that we all take for granted when we live there.

There are quite a lot of alpaca studs here I think, and single alpacas being used as herd guards. My trouble is I can't travel to the interesting parts of Oz to show them to you. I always watch British shows like Escape to the Country, or Homes under the Hammer, to see the lovely scenery, villages and houses there, also Bargain Hunt and Antique Roadshow, to see the flashier homes in England. I have to admit I'm one quarter English, maybe I do wonder why anyone would want to come down under from there. :)
