when or if to worm a mommy cat?

hi
my cat honey had her kittens on saturday nite and early sunday morning. They both died late sunday, I called the vet and they told me that the kittens were either premature or had birth defects. I also asked them about the fact that she had them several hours apart, one at 7 pm and one at about 5am. The vet told me it happens. I had called the vet saturday nite because i was worried about her (being a first time mommy and only having what i thought was one). He told me to leave her alone with the kitten because she was taking care of it. When the second one came i was told the same thing.
I called the vet after they passed away to see if i needed to do anything for her and they said she will dry up in about a week, to keep an eye on her for infections and such. She seems fine is eating and acting normal.
So sorry for babbling on.
I was wondering if i still need to deworm her? and when should i do this?

if you bring the vet a fecal sample they can tell you if she needs deworming or not,

incedentally it would be a great time to mention spayign the cat to the vet,

she can get pregnant again very soon after having her babies so she needs to be spayed ASAP

Does an indoor cat need to be wormed?
