Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement

I just thought that some of you who have lost beloved pets might find solace in this site. Many of us either do not have the money to pay for counseling sessions, or for other personal reasons, don't choose that route. The APLB has regularly scheduled chats on Mon, Wed. Fri, and Sun, and this has helped me greatly. It costs nothing, and if you wish to join the organization, the cost is $25 per year. In my opinion, it's a very worthy cause. It costs nothing at all to join the chats, and you must first register, but the process is very easy. Paste the link in your browser, click on chat on the left sidebar (make sure to click on the one for pet loss, unless your are an animal care professional, and then there's a chat for that, too), and that will take you to a page that decribes the times scheduled for the chats. The counselors are wonderful and caring people, and of course, they are all animal lovers who have loved and lost pets throughout their lives.
Hope this helps those of you who are grieving for your lost furry family members. CM
