Did I tell you I love summer,well,I really do:cloud9:

All I can say is WOW!! Do you know the name of that pink rose, Chico? It's a beauty alright. I think your Summer must be like our Spring, and our Summer is a bit like Hell. LOL. How hot does it get there? I bought another couple of roses yesterday, the superb Soaring Spirits

and a red one, Loving Memory.

Figured the latter especially was a good one for my dog cemetry.
Yours clematis is superb, it inspires me to at least try growing one, even while I doubt I could. Potted colour is great too, well done. Looks like you are better at growing gerberas than I am.

What lovely flowers, Chico :lovestruck:...the Gerberas are my all-time favorite though :cloud9:.

Do Clematis smell as good as I've read? I transplanted Sandman's into a larger pot last week so we're still waiting for it to grow some and sprout some blooms. I'm really curious about their scent.

Your roses are exquisite, chico! Love the begonia planters, too! So colorful! :D

Your garden doesn't look like it's in need of anything, chico! It's beautiful :cloud9:

Goldfields,I am sorry,I have no idea what the name is,just know that I loved it.
If I ever buy another Rose,I'll make a point of remembering the name.
Your new ones are beautiful,I have never seen one like the first one,but it's a wonderful way to honor the victims of 9/11.

I had no hand in growing the annuals,I bought them, and simply transferred them to my pots.
I take it the Gerberas are the Daisy-like flowers:confused:

Hazel,I love the Begonias, never used to but they are great for planters.

LP,I have 3 Clematises growing on the fence,but I don't think they smell.there is also a climbing Rose,with a strong smell,maybe it overpowers the Clematis:confused:

Oh Chico....I am so jealous!!! :D I cannot grow anything nor can keep even mature plants alive. Your backyard looks like an oasis!!!

Dee-O-Gee June 12th, 2010 09:58 AM

OH Chico2--your roses are stunning. Mine have neared the end of their first flush and have already pruned off spent flowers. :(

I like the last flower pot picture detailing the thermometer's reading! :thumbs up
