Oh Jessi, those are GORGEOUS!!!!!! You have such a beautiful garden!!!! I LOVE the Wigilia! WOW! I tried that one year and it didn't come back the next. I love those things! Yours is so beautiful and healthy! WOW!!! And awww, a rainbow!

my mom would love your garden! your flowers are beautiful! you must have a lot of patience and a really green thumb!!!

lol... why thank you.... my gardening secret....let mother nature handle things and don't butt in! seriously, I don't "garden". I watch. that giant red/purple iris that's pictured.... it popped up this year, I've never seen it before, and I've never planted one.

I yank some weeds here and there, spread some mulch, and clip/prune some bushes, otherwise, I think my house would be gobbled up by the garden.

we've been blessed w/ very fertile land. I could throw a peach pit out the window and I guarentee next year, I'd have a peach tree. in fact, we do have peach trees... the deer eat well 'round here.

last year CORN grew beneath my bird feeders... just from the small seeds that got knocked out of the feeder. we had REAL CORN in the garden.

Absolutely beautiful. :cloud9: And, I really think you're being a tad bit modest. :o

The flowers are absolutely beautiful. I just love to see everybody post pictures of their gardens. Thanks so much. I have never heard of a wigalia bush to the best of my knowledge but it sure is pretty. I love to have hummers so maybe I will have to plant on of those in the future. Do they bloom at the same time as the hummer migration? For me that is in the latter part of April to the first couple of weeks of May.

Very pretty. I especially love the blue iris. You've got a butterfly and hummingbird buffet there.

thanks, yeah the iris's are some of my fav's! I can't wait till those peony balls pop too!

I don't know when the hummingbirds migrate... so I'm not sure it if coincides w/ the blooming of the wigilia... it's in full bloom right NOW though.

usually late april-early may for us is the time for the lilacs and daffodils.
