i recently took advantage of our local kitten orphanage . i found it to be a great way to obtain a kitten with a great support group as well. this system lets you choose the breed of kitten and select your kitten from several various litters located in area foster homes. these kittens are not adopted out unless they have their first vaccines, deworming, a check up with a vet, and they are started on an anti flea program. this cost only 35.00 which is actually less than what it would cost for a visit to the vet with all the above included. they offer followup calls and a support network as well. i think that this system is worth mentioning.

good stuff

i think that's great...i used to work in an animal shelter and i don't want to describe what goes on when kittens are not adopted.

safe to say you have done a good deed.

please people...adopt more pets from shelters and orphanages.

I see that you are in the Ontario region...what area exactly?
I am presently seeking home for my cat, she is 8 years of age and short hair, tabby. I was wondering if you take any cats in and find homes for them or do you only work with litters? Do have anyone looking for an older cat suited for a couple or an older person, she has not been around children and don't know who she would adapt to them. Please let me know as I am open to options at this time. I am located in the Toronto area.

Thanks!:)
