Vista links that helped me
I am by no means a Vista expert. My love is XP, but bought a Vista machine thinking I might need to learn how it works - for work. It runs ok now but I don't use it for much.
Here are some of the articles/links I have saved while working with Vista issues. Maybe one of them can help you or someone you know. Good luck with Vista. Diane ***Also note for anyone ready to buy a new pc...Dell outlet still offers XP loaded with Vista licenses on many models - I recommend that rather than buying the "yucky" Vista. There's an FTP Utility in Vista?
I tried to open the second-last link but it was just a 7-page gray .pdf ...no print  |
Yes, but I just read the FTP utility is only in Vista Business and Ultimate, not home. :(
If you have business or Ultimate I could email you the file, but I still wonder why you can't read it. It is sideways - but readable for me, even here at work. Diane |
Oh...because it's 2.33 M in size. :o Connection isn't handling it well.
I only have Home Premium, so I guess it's a moot point, anyway. :o The 10 tweaks one is good! :thumbs up |
