My Balloon-flower and a couple of pics of part of my messy organized garden:laughing:
Still waiting for a lot more flowers to bloom.

Very pretty! I like the balloon flowers!

My coneflowers are nowhere near as far along as yours are. The first ones are just starting to get their 'petals'.

Platycoden's are one of my favourites. Probably because they are so easy to look after. My purple plants have been opened for a week or so. The pink ones are just starting to open. They are so pretty!
I love your gardens Chico. :cloud9:

14+ thank's,next spring I am going to have to split plants bigtime, everything grows like crazy.
My Hydrangea did not bloom again this year,it's not one of those huge H's,but a more delicate lace-looking one,it only bloomed the first year:sad:
I trim it down to a couple of inches each spring, maybe I am not supposed to??
I'll see if I can find a pic

Chico I hope I can jump in here instead of starting a new thread but I need to ask 14+ what these plants are called again? God cant remember anything these days! I know one is a Malva? the rest??? Oh and one I couldnt identify cause it was round and the texture was weird but then I figured it out! you will too!

Chico - I really don't have much to do with hydrangeas yet. It isn't one I carry. Would love to but haven't yet. This article might help though. Sorry I couldn't.

Winston - Your first one looks like the Sonora coneflower. It doesn't invert like most cones but is very pretty. The middle pic is too small. I can't tell. :o The last one is a pink balloon flower (pladycoden). Next year it should come up thicker. You are right. The next one is the Malva. I like that plant! So pretty.
The other one - you're right, very weird texture. Have no idea. And that big brown one in the last picture? Unidentifiable! You need to send a picture to some horticultural society to see if they can help. But it is very very handsome. :cloud9:

Chico - My lace-cap bloomed so did my snowball only it grew much shorter this year. As far as pruning the Lace-cap I prune some and not other parts, no idea why it would not bloom, I've never found mine to be fussy I've had it about 22yrs.

Winston - I've never seen that first one of yours, want one though. Where, where? The last pic you posted I think after doing much research is Un chocolat labradroolia
