Red Breasted Nuthatch
 

This little cutie and a few others have been around the garden for a long time. They love it when I start to put out the peanut feeder. No wonder he's such a little pudge. In the last pic you can see him extracting his prize.

:lovestruck: I love the nuthatches, too--both the white- and the red-breasted varieties...but I think the red-breasted ones are my favorites!

Wow ~ he's practically ROUND ~ pudge indeed! :laughing:

I love the little darlins too. My fav are the white but I also love the red breasteds.
