Prin...anyone...help finding Solid Gold!

I usually buy my Solid Gold in the U.S. I found a supplier but he is an hour and a half away and I haven't had a chance to go pick up more food. I have enough food until the end of the week and the store nearby that use to sell Solid Gold is no longer doing so. Aside from Woofers which is 45 minutes away do you know of another store on or near the south shore of Montreal that sells it? :fingerscr

Little Bear, corner St Catherine west and Greene Ave, sells it. You probably want to call first to make sure, but they used to carry it. Last time I went was over a month ago though..They also deliver, so if you work downtown they can bring it to your office. I think delivery is free...

Club K-9 will order it if they don't have it in stock. They're on Sherbrooke between Cavendish and Decarie. I think 6004, Sherbrooke W (514-489-4004).

Otherwise, supposedly these have Solid Gold too (call ahead though to be sure):

Le Reveille Du Maitre http://www.lereveildumaitre.com/index.php
5377 Boul. Saint-Laurent (514) 490-0202
Or
1461 Van Horne (514) 948-0202

le Croque en bol (5054, avenue du parc, 514-273-6889)

The Eastern Canada Distributer Web site was working tonight (finally- it hasn't worked for me for a while...) and I got these off it (in case it doesn't work tomorrow again...). Call ahead because their list is pretty outdated...

For Longueuil:

Boutique D Animaux Pom Pom, 6185 Boul Taschereau 450-678-4381

Canin-Felin Expresso, 1408 Beauharnois 450-468-2494

Canin-Felin Expresso, 317 St-Denis 450-672-2646

And one in Beloeil (just in case that's not too far away...)
Albert Et Moi, 409 Boul Laurier, 450-464-2851

I checked out the web site and Pom Pom no longer exists. Canin Felin doesn't want to carry it anymore as no one buys it. I may check out the guy in Beloeil. I didn't see that one on the web site. It is fa little further away but better than driving in town. I work and live on the shore. Thanks everyone for the help. If Albert et MOi doesn't have it I will drive in town and fight the traffic on the bridge.

Well worst comes to worst, the ones I listed in Montreal DO have it. I've been or I've heard. :) Jolly pet is so slow to update. It's ridiculous.

Hey- if nothing turns up by Monday next week, I'll be in St-Hubert at 6AM... So if you're really stuck, I can bring you a bag.

PetValue carries Solid Gold, they can also special order it for you, usually takes about a week.

Many independent pet food stores also carry Solid Gold.

Thanks Prin. I didn't think I had enough for the week and was beginning to panic. Turns out I had plenty and convinced my husband to take the drive to Burlington to pick up food. I bought three big bags so I am okay for a few months. I learned a lot about the food also while I was there. The distributor is a very knowledgeable person.

What are you doing in St-Huber at 6:00 a.m.? I start work in St-Hubert at 7:00 a.m.

Prin September 12th, 2005 06:03 PM

LOL too late! I was driving my man to the airport over there... :)

coppperbelle September 12th, 2005 07:50 PM

Hey I noticed a jet taking off at about 6:45 a.m. this morning on my way to work. He was probably in the plane.

Prin September 12th, 2005 08:38 PM

LOL he was in the 6AM one. :) It's so small, like a car in the sky. :o
