Oh, Jull, there are no words for that story. Yes, I do think we all need one like this, but most especially after hearing about the other.

An interview with the Vet who changed her mind and decided to save the eyelid-less kitty has been posted: http://www.cbc.ca/radionoonmanitoba/#

"Joe" is "on Facebook", too https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.565872030111010.1073741837.195660217132195&type=1

he is so pretty! wow, there is a comment on the FB pics of a lady wondering why he had surgery when there is all these other cats dying in the streets... kind of mean - while I could understand her point, there is also a lot of people dying on the streets, and we don't "put down" new kids that have any kind of health issue, so that the homeless ones can get a home... I probably sound even meaner than her, but I don't think is right for us to assume that as humans our life is more valuable than animal's... lol I don't have much patience for people these days.

He looks to be a dear little kitty, it's wonderful that they could help him. I LOVE tabby cats, and I love the veterinary ophthamologist who did the op free of charge.
