Are we done being a puppy

We have an 18 month old wheaton terrier (F) and a 6 month old Miniature Schnauzer (M). The schnauzer constantly is trying to play with the wheaton. Always jumping on, play biting, mouthing, etc etc. Only once has he tried to hump the wheaton. Our wheaton never seems to be content, unless she is in her crate.

When ever I scold the schnauzer for misbehaving (chewing shoes, eating Toilet paper etc) the wheaton always seems to take the discipline personally even though I almost never need to discipline her.

Here are my questions - the schnauzer is not neutered yet - will this help?
Is this a puppy thing or more serious?

thx

Do a search of the forums on "humping". It's a dominance issue. Getting the dog neutered will help, but it won't get rid of the problem... Just search humping-- there's a lot about it in the training forum. :)
