california natural vs EVO ???some opinions please

So ive been trying to change Roland to EVO and hes struggling a whole lot.
i started out with about 1 (evo) to 4 neutro for a few days then made it a little stronger EVO and he still seems to be struggling to adapt digestive wise. i think maybe its a bit strong for him and was wondering if i should try the california natural instead as its not quite as high in Protein and maybe his stomach is too sensitive for the high protein of EVO. Any suggestions? i have had him on the normal digestive enzmes and have tried the stronger ones to no real positive results. What do you guys think? am i rushing it or is he just not ready for such high protein food? (hes 6 months now.) any opinions appreciated.

I'd go slow and give him time. What kind of digestive issues?

My Angus developed FLUTD while on California Natural, I realize it won't happen to every cat, but it does have higher levels of phophorous and magnesium than some of the other better foods out there.

Scott_B hes had diarrea for about a week. not chronic, only at the normal times he goes to the litter box. I have not noticed any other cahnges in him so im thinking its just the change in protien and the digestive enzymes should help. it seemed that they were a lttle fimer yesterday eve but certainly not what they should be. Im wondering if i started the mix too strong and whether i should just start all over again. put him on his old food completely till his tummy gets better then start adding the EVO again and do it over a few weeks?
