6 long months ago today, my sweet little girl was taken away. Its been miserable without her by my side. I miss her like crazy.

I love you dearly, Dooders!

The time passes so quickly. :( How are her flowers doing?

Lady G was a beautiful gal. Jeffery your Roses brought some tears to my eyes thinking of your gal. I planted some white Roses in 1999.. My Dad passed away the later part of summer of 1999. On the day he passed my roses bloomed. I was fortunate enough to have 3 gorgeous blooms on the day he died and they were the first and the last for some reason. The rose bush died and never bloomed again. I was blessed to bury him with those 3 gorgeous roses. They were full , white and absolutely beautiful.
I am sure Lady G is looking down very proud of you and never forgetting her memory.

Her roses seem to be doing very well, and each bush has produced a lot of roses so far. There are tiny buds on them now that will soon bloom. I am very thrilled about that. I pray they continue to be healthy and produce beautiful roses for as long as the earth exists. :D

Awww, thank you very much for the kind words, Cindy. Even though it has been many years ago, I am truly sorry to hear about your father. It's awesome that you were able to place some beautiful roses n his grave that you grew yourself. You will never forget that. My father means the world to me. He and I have gotten along our entire lives. We're best friends. He is having some health issues now, in fact, we just came home yesterday from a weeks stay in the hospital. I was actually still there when I posted here yesterday. Praying he gets better soon. I love him dearly!

Again, thank you two very much.:grouphug:

Now 7 long, hard months without my sweet, little girl. Been looking at some of her videos and pictures. She was so much fun, y'all. I know I keep repeating myself, but she was such a precious little soul. Lord is my witness, I think of her every single day. She was the best!

Here's another short video of her. She loved hanging out in those azalea bushes, on that porch, or at the base of that oak tree. She had her special spots she liked to get away to when she wanted to rest. You'll hear me calling her a few of the crazy nicknames I called her.

LOL She was tired in the picture below, but I kept pestering her by taking pictures. She was so much fun.

I'm so glad your memories are giving you some smiles these days!

Loved the video! I'm impressed--she actually came to you when called! :D What a good girl! And what a testimony to your relationship!

Thanks, hazelrunpack. Most of the time when I would go outside, or come home, she would hear or see me and come running to me without ever needing to call for her. And gosh, I miss that so much. She knew I loved her dearly, and she made me feel just as special. She followed me all over the place.

Thanks again.

Thank you. Roses seem to be doing well. It has been extremely hot here for over 2 months, but still growing roses. Had 3 pink roses bloom within a week recently. Haven't had any red roses bloom in over a month.

Thanks again, y'all. :grouphug:

It's been a long 10 months without my Lady G. Gone, but certainly not forgotten!

We've had some nice, cool weather here lately. When the temps dropped, you'd see her running all around the yard and climbing trees. Bucking and acting all silly. She was as fast as lightning. That girl loved to play. And it was a lot of fun playing with her.

I love you punkin!

hazelrunpack November 15th, 2019 11:02 AM

Sounds like the cold weather brought out her zoomie mood! :lovestruck: She was lucky to share her life with you in a state where there wasn't too much snow!

Our cats have stopped even asking to go out for walks now that we have snow on the ground! Instead, they're zooming inside. JD knocked over and broke my monitor last night doing a zoomie run over the computer table  I'll bet Lady G. had better manners!

:laughing::laughing::laughing:

That's funny! Lady G. loved getting up here on my computer table and getting all in my way, laying all over the keyboard and mice cable. Sometimes I couldn't get anything done. But that was my baby, and I loved the attention she gave me. Too cute!

Now about that broken monitor, now may be a great time to buy yourself another one due to all the Black Friday sales going on between now and December. Check out monitor deals on Amazon and on Newegg. It's where I get most of my computer related needs.

Happy Holidays to you! :thumbs up

hazelrunpack November 15th, 2019 03:29 PM

Thanks, Jeffrey! Wishing you sweet memories and much happiness this season, as well!

I've been painfully browsing using an old laptop and it does seem like there are a lot of sales on monitors right now. Maybe JD's rampage was well-timed! :D

Thinking of you on this beautiful Thanksgiving day, Lady G.! Of course, there's not a single day that goes by that I don't think of you!

Love you girl!

11 long months have passed without Lady G. by my side, and I still miss her like crazy.

A small rose bloomed 2 or 3 days ago on one of her 3 rose bushes. Seeing those roses bloom always puts a smile on my face.

I love you dearly Lady G.!

hazelrunpack December 14th, 2019 08:36 PM

Glad to hear Lady G.'s roses are still blooming! I think it's a sign she's keeping watch over you and she wants you to smile.

We have a foot of snow on the ground--I can't even see the gardens at this point--and anything in bloom would be a miracle!! :D

Awww, thank you very much hazelrunpack! That's an awesome way to look at it.

I live along the coast of Georgia, and we hardly even know what snow is! We've had some cool weather, but the real cold hasn't gotten here as of yet. It is coming though. And as hard as it may be to believe, it does get pretty cold here at times. I love cooler weather. Summers are just way too hot.

Again, thanks for the kind words. I truly appreciate it.

Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas!

hazelrunpack December 15th, 2019 08:05 PM

Merry Christmas to you and yours, as well, Jeffrey.

And any time you want a taste of winter, come on up! Plenty of snow to pass around and we started out at -10F this morning. Invigorating! :thumbs up :D

A year ago today, I got the awful news about my dear, Lady G. It's been a difficult year without her. And I still occasionally get upset, but things have improved a little. I still think of her every single day, and often. I will do so for the rest of my life. I will never forget this sweet, little girl. My best friend! Ever!

I love you dearly, Lady G.!

Happy Easter to you as well! :thumbs up I'm doing okay, and hope you're doing great also! The weather got a little spooky around here this morning with heavy wind and rain, but thankfully, no harm or any damage. At least not in my area, who knows what it's like a ways up the road, though.

Also trying to stay away from everyone with this virus going around. Hope you're doing the same.

Be safe, my friend!
