Grasshopper eating dog

My dog hAs been vomiting after eating grasshoppers. Could it be the pesticide?

Many grasshoppers sequester (take in and incorporate into their own bodies for defense) toxins from the plants they eat. It's probably more that than pesticides.

The dog could have a reaction or upset stomach from the discharge that a grasshopper gives when it finds itself in danger.
My Labrador used to eat a few of those big black crickets. Gross.

Thx for the info. She seems to be a bit better tonight and I've been keeping her inside for a few days.
