Subtitle: Cats and Sewing Machine Bobbins Don't Mix.

I know Lucy is fascinated by my bobbins so I have the drawer they're in fastened closed by a wood working clamp. I arrived in my sewing/laundry room more than once to find spools and bobbins and trails of thread all over. My Vet said he'd once had to amputate a cat's tongue as the thread wrapped around it and was there too long to save the tongue.

So my spools are in snap tight plastic bins and the bobbins are in the drawer with the clamp to prevent it being opened.

Well, it took her a couple of years but Lucy has figured out that if she can wiggle her paw up the side of the drawer, over the edge, into the section of bobbins and pull them out. There were four on the floor this morning. I'm sure it was Lucy but once she gets them out the other two play with them too. I'd like to see this in action, I wonder if she goes at them from the top of the desk or from underneath?

Luucccyyyy, you got some 'splainin to do.

Oy! She's a little devil, that one! You need to set up a web camera, focused on the bobbin drawer, to catch her Mission Impossible antics!

LOL, and you know what I just learned? I looked for a Youtube of Ricky saying that to Lucy, to put on my thread. And I learned he never actually said that! According to Dr. Google it's something called the Mandela Effect. Ricky said things close to that but never that exact phrase. So there you go, my cat is educating me. Thank you Lucy. :)

 Oh, man, hubby is going to be so disappointed! He uses that line on me a lot! :p Also the finger-waggling thing while saying, "Let me 'splain' this to you..." Did Ricky actually say that or is that another Mandela Effect sort of thing? :D
