Poodle

hello
I am very pleased to have found this forum. I have a 4mth old black miniature poodle called Cricket. She is especially lively and cuddly. I hope to contribute where possible & look forward to learning about other pets & situations. I live in Auckalnd, New Zealand.

Welcome to the forum, LynetteM! I'll second that request for pics (unless someone beats me to it! :D)!

9Yep, I'm pretty sure we have another New Zealander around...isn't it Quin'smum? Or has hazel's memory left her high and dry again? :o )

hi

I shall certainly post some pics asap...have some waiting to be downloaded.
I am struggling with the toilet training yet ....have got her to go numbers of times outdoors, but she still will wee inside. At night she is good & goes on paper set out.
Any thoughts would be valued.

Do you crate her? Sometimes this helps them to learn to control their bladder..

Welcome to the board! :)

4 months is still fairly young... She won't be able to hold it for too long (I think the rule is an hour for every month?). :goodvibes:

Welcome to pets.ca. I agree 4 months in still pretty young and often the smaller dogs talk longer to potty train. Be consistant and she'll get it :) .
