Please advise Paw swollen

I have a 26 pound white cat. I can not reach a vet I saw that someone gave their 22 pound cat benadryl. Could you tell me how much to use for our Nagi, I believe he was stung by a bee or bitten by a spider.

Most vets will have an answering machine message or service that gives the number of the emergency clinic. Or look in the yellow pages of the telephone directory under Veterinarian Emergency Services. They should be able to advise you over the phone if you need to take your cat in or what you can do at home.

Please don't medicate your cat when you have no idea what is wrong with him. Unless you saw the bee sting him, the swelling could be anything from a sting, to a fracture to an abcess.

I'm sure you will be able to get him in to see your vet tomorrow.

Tragic got stung on her mouth by a bee one weekend, and the swelling went down in less than an hour, and within a day, i couldn't even tell it had happened!

It could be anything froma sting to an abcess,
so don't medicate it!
