Dog - possible infection

Took my dog (female) for a walk - it is not a hot day - the dog would sit down in the wet grass - like it was cooling off it's rear end.

Bathed her when I got home - can't really see anything wrong.

Dried her off - she yelped when I patted her underneath with a towel.

Any thoughts?

She could have full or impacted anal glands - vet visit is in order.

should have been more clear

That part of her seems to be fine.

She sat on it - like she was going pee - several times at least 4 or 5 times during the walk.

I wonder if it is some kind of yeast infection. Area did not seem to be red. Did not notice anything.

She has been fixed (many years ago).

Generally she seems fine. She is not complaining. Doesn't seem sick.

She is the only dog, and stays inside nearly all day.

Hi I'd run my hands again all along the body and examine the exact place where she yelps.

Check that area. Try and determine if it hurts on the outside(scratches, wounds, insect bites etc.) or inside.
