Subsidized

Does anyone know of somewhere in the Edmonton AB area to have a (male) cat neutered at a reduced price?

I know our H/S does subsidize. (Manitoba) I don't see in Edmonton where they do..only for their own animals. Maybe see if a vet will take payments?

Any vet should be able to direct you to the subsidy program in their city. When I first got my cats, I just asked my vet and he gave me the paperwork to fill out & send in. It was very easy but that was about 10 years ago! I'm sure its as simple, if not easier now!!

Thank you amaruq and Catt31.

It's not for myself, I'm in BC.

I'm trying to convince some young folks to get their "farm cats" done before it's too late. The kids are living in a cabin on the prairie, without electricity or running water, and don't have any money to spare.

I'll pass on your suggestions to them.

No prob!! They will have to pay a bit though, its not 100% free unfortunately!! Now my curiousity is killing me......why are they living in a cabin on the prairie? Is it for fun or necessity?? I hope they aren't planning to stay there in the winter...Edmonton gets COLD!!!! BRRRRRRR!!!! LOL Just curious!!! ;)
