If you are using IE, go into tools then options, then click clear history (I'm going on memory as I don't use IE at home).

better yet reformat the hard drive......use the original windows disk....she will never have access to any of your info......cause there are other ways to view cookies , temp files ect.....so you should reformat.

Hi Heidiho

You ALSO want to do the following

Tools - internet options - delete cookies

also do

Tools - internet options - delete files (AND) click delete offline files as well

But I would agree with wdawson - reformatting the drive is the safest way.

best!

I use IE Privacy Keeper. You can download it (it's free) and then uninstall it after you're finished.....

don't software programs keep a file somewhere on the hardrive...even after you use un-install?....heidi reformat its the best way and the easiest.....besides you can piss him off by not reinstalling programs:laughing:

heidi

save all the kitty pics to disk before reformatting.....we need to see more:laughing:

heidiho August 10th, 2007 06:19 PM

Yeah i dont want to get rid of any programs he has on here, but i dont know how to do what you guys are saying.

wdawson August 10th, 2007 06:27 PM

well if you don't want to get rid of some programs....then you can not reformat.....this wipes all things off the drive and all you will have is windows and no other programs.

heidiho August 10th, 2007 06:28 PM

Oh yeah i cant do that,i will just delete cookies and files,i dont think she would ever go beyond that.
