Very heartwarming stories about the courage and unconditional love of different animals...

A very good read.

I got that one at the library ~ some of the stories brought tears to my eyes they were so touching. Not that [I]we[/I] need reminding but, it really hits home the message that animals contribute so much to our individual lives and truly do "humanize" a civilized society.

Isn't that the truth, mx3... it is a beautiful book and we can and do learn so much from our 4-footed friends!

Thanks for the tip, I'll keep my eyes open for that one:).
