Oprah September 25 all about dogs!

I just received a Facebook "heads up" that tomorrow's Oprah is all about dogs and there is also a puppy mill update.

ooh! I don't have TV at the moment :( I wonder if it will be online at all? I hope so! I am sure there will be some cute pooches... and some tear jerkers, Oprah is all about making people cry!

Some well-trained dogs including one little cutie who 'can count' :cloud9:...a request for support of a bill they're trying to pass in PA (if I'm remembering rightly) to help regulate puppy mills (but PA has some bad legislation out there and I'd want to see it before I'll support it)...an update on some WI () puppy mill rescues who were all adopted out :thumbs up...an update on that guy that shot 80 of his dogs rather than take them to the vet for flea treatments as required by the state inspector ...

I'm sure there was more, but you know how madame hazel's memory is... :o

If it were on again I might watch again...but Oprah gives me a pain :o

I feel the same way but like it or not she does have the reach to make a difference and judging by the updates she has been somewhat successful.

After the first show, the "angel haven" (?) rescue with all the throw away dogs that had debilitating afflcitions received $400 000 in donations. That is an insame amount of $$$.

She also reported on at least 3 mills with hundreds to even thousands of dogs that were shut down as a result of the show.

I am not nearly as concerned with the journey (Oprah) as the results...and it is making a difference.

It is only the tip of the iceberg but knowledge is strength in this case so I hope she does recaps often and I will always watch them!
