I got some good poses... Poses that strangers can't say no to...

How about a little head tilt?

What? Not enough? Ok. More head tilt...:D (I have no idea what he's trying to do)

Last straw. I'll make them look really, really sad.

Prin December 26th, 2005 11:43 PM

ok, I'll stop with the digicam pics. I don't know how you all refrain when you own a digital camera... I'm sort of glad I don't have one.:o

Anybody else have manipulative faces?

Byrd December 27th, 2005 12:01 AM

LOL It really does look like you just digitally made the eyes blue... so cute.

Thanks... Jemma's eyes were really neat in the snow. They get so constricted that you see so much of the whitey-blue part...

Byrd December 27th, 2005 12:08 AM

Yeah, Wolf had blues, but he was white/sable, you they weren't as noticable.

I would give those faces a cookie.... or two.

Prin December 27th, 2005 12:10 AM

LOL You should see them in person. They pull out all the stops.

Byrd December 27th, 2005 12:44 AM

I can just imagine how many times you get asked if she is blind.

Willow's eyes get commented on a lot too... they are yellow.

Prin December 27th, 2005 12:47 AM

Actually, never. People comment on how beautiful her eyes are but not once has anyone ever asked me if there were any health implications. I hope there won't be, but I think her eyesight is not as good as Boo's...

Nobody comments on Boo's eyes, but to me, they're really different (they're orange)...

Byrd December 27th, 2005 01:30 AM

People used to ask all the time if Wolf was blind... just because his eyes were blue.

Prin December 27th, 2005 01:38 AM

More often than I'd like, I get asked if Boo is the mom and Jemma is the baby and if they're both seeing eye dogs...

LM1313 December 27th, 2005 02:38 AM

AWWWWW!

See, I don't understand why some people say black dogs aren't photogenic. They're so, so cute!

glasslass December 27th, 2005 01:43 PM

We need a "cookie" icon so I can send one!

shannonRN December 27th, 2005 02:04 PM

Your guys look like such sweeties. Here's a cookie for each of them (Rom and Moo already took a bite)

This is Rommy's manipulative face:

And this is Moo's manipulative move:

I don't know how you can keep from giving all those cute little faces everything they want. I just love Boo and Jemma's eyes, they are so unique.

Byrd I know what you mean about people always asking if the dog is blind because of blue eyes. My mom's whippet has one blue eye and one brown eye and people always ask if he is blind in the blue eye (he's not).

Prin December 27th, 2005 02:56 PM

Very cute faces, Shannon. I've seen that pointery move before... It does get cookies. :)

LM, I don't know about other black doggies, but mine are pretty good in pics.. (that's my excuse for posting so many). It's hard to get the light meter right in the snow though. You either have detail in the snow or on the doggies but not both.

I vote for details on doggies :D who cares if the snow is blasted!! We want to see those cute little Jemma and Boo faces!

meb999 January 7th, 2006 06:40 PM

Ok! Ok! I'll wear the stupic antlers...

And the stupid Santa hat...

But not for just ANY cookie! Those better be satin-balls in your hands!!

Prin January 7th, 2006 08:18 PM

LOL What a cutie! Cookies all around!:)

technodoll January 7th, 2006 08:28 PM
I hope there won't be, but I think her eyesight is not as good as Boo's...
That's because her eyes are blue, not because of anything else. Blue eyes and green eyes have difficulty in bright light. Watch on a sort of dull day and you will notice that the eyesight is much better. It's the same for humans too.

Prin January 7th, 2006 09:11 PM

Exactly! In the snow, she's terrible. I have to have the light at an angle when I throw the ball... Definitely more light "interference".

The butt that stopped it:p ...14 days and counting.....weight loss...1lb...:D

Prin January 7th, 2006 11:17 PM

LOL If I had a scanner, I would post my old yellow lab- she's identical, only her nose was pink. If the genetic modifiers really wanted to help pets, they'd engineer a yellow lab with a fast metabolism (fast enough to match the appetite....;) )
