[b]Question:

I have a 2 year old, long hair kitty. Her problem is that she sleeps so deep, she loses all muscle tone (she's really floppy and hard to wake up) and ends up losing bladder control and leaking urine.

Is there something I can do for this besides covering all of my furniture in plastic?
And what do you recommend to remove the smell of cat urine?
Thanks, Emily

Emily,

For serious homeopathic advice, I would need more information about your cat, like her temperament, her general structure (thin, obese..) You would have to bring her in to a veterinarian to get the most accurate diagnosis.

Only counting on the fact that she is hard to wake up, I can suggest PULSATILLA 15c given at the rate of 3 pellets twice a week.

To remove the smell of cat urine on the furniture, you should try Febreze sold in groceries. I use it in my clinic with success.

Frbreeze and Cat Urine

I came to this forum because my male cat is having problems with his bladder. He is eing seen by a Vet and is on antiobiotics.

He started with having blood in the urine and then it stopped and now it is starting again. I am bringing him back to the Vet tomorrow.

I would like to know how to apply the Frebreeze? I went and bought some and now I say to myself what's next?

How far from the furniture should I spray Frebreeze? How much do I spray on? How often should I do this?

Anxiously awaiting response.

Just spray the febreeze on the urine stain.....but read the label to be sure that it will not damage your particular stained area.

A few sprays should remove the smell permenantly.

Thank for Batcat for replying to my post. I will definitely apply this technique that you have mentioned in this post.

Thanks a bunch!
