Are you talking about degenerative myelopathy? If so it is a genetic problem in Boxers, were the dogs parents cleared for DM prior to breeding? If you don't know this could be something that has been going on the dogs entire lives and is passed down genetically not something caused from a rabies vaccine.

Your thread is kind of confusing to be very honest, sorry to hear about your dogs.

degenative malopathy

i believe the rabies shots caused degenative malopathy. the blood lines show no evidence of this deseases.dogs were fine before rabies shots, after rabies they started goind down hill.

What blood line are they?
So very sad that you are going through this, but I have a hard time believeing is solely due to a vaccine. How old are they? Is this their first rabies vaccine?
Don't get me wrong, I am a minimalist when it comes to vaccinating our pets and most of mine are titered as apposed to vaccinated, however rabies is something I do every 3 years.

Degenerative Myelopathy is a slow progressing disease that usually shows over a course of 6-12 months. It is an autoimmune condition that affects the central nervous system, basically the immune system attacks it's own nerve cells. The vaccine would not have caused the disease but would have contributed to its progression. When an animal with an already compromised immune system is vaccinated their body often can't handle the vaccines' "attack" ontop of whatever else the body is fighting.
