Dog eating poo
Can you all give me your opinion on this product please. My GF's Golden has this nasty behaivor and she has asked me to take a look at this. My first thought was the ingredients, MSG is the first on the list.
Revivalanimal.com Dr Roys Fe-Cease. http://www.revivalanimal.com/store/p/6743-Doc-Roy-s-Fe-Cease-Granules.aspx?feed=Become.com&gdftrk=gdfV2457_a_7c543_a_7c2708_a_7c6743 Thanks for your feedback. patti |
With MSG as the first ingredient I definitely would not use it. :yuck:
There are lots of these type of products on the market but none of them seem to work. Dogs are attracted to the undigested grains and by-products in kibble so it's best to feed poop eating dogs a grain free brand. And, of course, picking up the poop right away and training them the leave it command are your best options imo. :thumbs up |
Thanks Rainbow, the dog in question does not eat her own but other dogs feces. I did not like the ingredients either. patti

We had this problem with our lab .....he wouldn't eat his own but just our sibe's and they both ate the same grain free kibble. The only thing that worked was picking up the poop right away and teaching him the leave it command. :thumbs up |

That's about all we can do here too with two poop eaters . However, I did teach Penny to scout out some I may have missed picking up :D. |
Thanks everyone, your thoughts are mine too, teach Quincey the leave it command. patti
