Hand and Body Mosituriser??

I have very dry skin (especially my hands and arms), and before the kittens arrived I used lotion everyday - because we are petting and handling the kittens often I have refrained from using moisturister. . .

. . . Can I go back to using lotion like usual? Or should I continue to refrain?

Does anyone think lotion would harm the kittens?

(St Ives Cucumber/Melon and Luberderm Hypo-Allergenic/Unsented are my weapons of choice. . . )

I would think that it would be okay to use lotion. It would be like a conditioner on their coats too.

Just don't tell my dog, he'll lick it off you as soon as you put it on. LOL.

If your hands are really dry from the constant washing, try to break a Vitamin E capsule (more hygenic than goign in and out of a bottle of oil) and it'll be great for their fur and harmless to the babies. (Great for your skin too!! lol)

but as a p.s. I think your favs would be fine. :)

Lotion won't hurt

I use lotion on my hands all the time and have never seen any ill effects in any of my animals. Some of my dogs have insisted on licking it off, whether on my hands, legs, whatever - but I've never noticed any effects.

I had never thought about not using lotion with them, so they have been raised around it (hope it's ok  )

I use a homemade peppermint lotion which they actually seemed to like the smell of..
