That seems a bit odd for Chase to react like that?? Kailey should have no problem.

Do you think that it may have been too big for Chase? you also have to be sure its on the right way. It should not make him gag! thats for sure...it doesnt really fit like it would gag him.

Well see what you think with Kailey using it..

It's actually not odd at all for him unfortunately...I wasn't really expecting it to work well. If anything makes him uncomfortable, his instinct is to run. He choked/gagged himself on a flat collar as a pup! He even made himself vomit a couple times, so I didn't just start using a Halti to correct pulling issues....it was so he wouldn't hurt himself on leash!!!

I really don't feel worried about it with Kailey.....I think it will work well, and will likely minimize the the number of leash corrections she requires (which IMO is the ultimate goal here). It should go well - just waiting for hubby to get home so we can all go for a walk. :)

I thought I would add this link as I had not heard of this collar

I have tried so many collars on Guinness..I really hated walking him
And the only one I found to be the most effective was the pinch collar...but it looks so awful but does not seem to cause him any pain
