Welcome to our big,happy family.......:D

I take it your dogs have been pointed to Champion or have been titled?

They have been health and genetic tested/certified before breeding?

This means against their hips,elbows,eyes,ect.

Welcome to the board... I hope you can overlook the rearranged posts for today- it's never happened before. Do you have any pics of your babies?

Welcome - I have a big sookie baby chocolate lab as a nephew, lol It must be fun to have a grand champion so you can have a litter - does she enjoy the shows? I always think when I retire and can afford the time and the money, I will show my Siamese - my baby is show quality but I spayed her since I did not have time for shows. I do have two foster Sphnxes who are champions though so I may be there yet. But not for a bit!!! It is so much work to do the shows and the breeding - and the genetic work (and I have a degree in biochem - but I bet it is is interesting to study and get the proper workup done. Do you have a good vet? How did you select your vet?

Good luck!!!!!

Nothing personal- but a lot of us are against breeding unless the above has taken place, if you have done that great, but if not just remember all the labs/dogs in shelters and all the puppies born that dont have any testing done that end up with hip dysplasia, hear murmurs, and other severe ailments.

Just a warning you make get some comments in regards to your post, but I hope you stick around its a great forum. :D

Once again welcome

WOW your dogs are beautiful!! I'm guessing from the pic that you have trained them for hunting and obviously have done a good job (counting birds on hood)
I've never been but they hold trials near us lol my couch potatoes would not be the kind to retrive, especially since the birds look bigger than my dogs.

my dogs

Well yes my brown has been trained and has been in the champion trials. he has been booked for pheasant hunts... my yellow lab well she retrieves too but she is mostly a house dog but she is trained also... what i would like to do is this... I would like to donate one or two pups to the school that raises dogs for the blind. i think that would be a great thing to do and help out.. this is my jewels second and LAST liter. i believe in keeping the blood line going but not over and over... two litters is enough... i hope that doesn't offend anyone..

thank you for the warm welcome

Michelle
