Age of a kitten

Hi,

I finnaly got a mother cat and her babies. They are just to cute and the mother is amazing and loves to cuddle. She is all grey with on white dote on her chest. Her name is Nelly and she's ~1 yr..I hope she will get adopted

I was told her babies are 3 weeks old. I have been looking at a lot of pics and doing a lot of research and I personnaly don't think there 3 weeks, more like 2 weeks. Is there anyway I can tell to be 100% sure?

Thanks, Kate

Can you post pics?

At two weeks old, they would barely have their eyes open and would be very unsteady and wobbly on their feet.

I googled and this link shows what 2 week old kittens look like approximately

they are still very small and fragile with eyes barely open

I remember thinking the kittens I raised looked different from images on the internet too, but I had raised them since birth and so knew exactly how old they are. With my kittens the boy opened his eyes at 5 days and the girl at 8 days, although two weeks is the average. Guess I'm just saying every litter could be different! How much do they weigh? That could give you a better idea. Post pics if you've got them!
